Football: Atletico boost Europe bid with win

MADRID: Atletico Madrid improved their chances of playing in Europe next season when Argentine forward Sergio Aguero struck twice in a 4-1 home win over mid-table Levante in La Liga. The victory lifted the Spanish capital’s second club and Europa League champions to sixth on 49 points, two behind fifth-placed Athletic Bilbao with five games left following the Basque club’s 2-1 success against Real Sociedad.
