Formula One: Heidfeld

BERLIN: Renault’s Nick Heidfeld claims his team is hoping to finish ahead of Ferrari this year after a good start to the season with two podiums in the first two races. Ferrari, yet to finish on the podium, leads Renault by 18 points in the constructors’ championship. However, Heidfeld is confident his team can overcome Ferrari and repeat its impressive opening performances as the year progresses. “I think that we can do that,” said Heidfeld. “We’re working very hard and if we can keep that development speed up, I think yes we can maintain the momentum.”
