‘Pakistan’s IT, marble products have great potential’

ICCI advised to plan a sector-specific delegation to the Mobile World Congress

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Commercial Counsellor to Spain Muhammad Hamid Ali said on Tuesday that the country’s IT and marble products have great potential in Spain, stressing exporters to focus on promoting these products to improve bilateral trade relations.

He said this while exchanging views with the local business community during his visit to Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).

The veteran diplomat said that Spain is strategically located in Europe and Pakistan should develop close cooperation with it to get better access to the European market. He said a Mobile World Congress would be held in Barcelona, Spain from Feb 26 to March 1, 2018.

He said ICCI should plan a sector-specific delegation focusing on two or three sectors to hold productive and result-oriented meetings with Spanish counterparts.
