His pinned tweet, showing results of The Great Aloo War 2017, shocked the nation and of course, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Asad Umar with a draw.
“After 24 hours and 14,334 votes, The Great Aloo War of 2017 has ended in a tie,” said the American stand-up comedian.
Biryani-loving comedian Jeremy McLellan is finally coming to Pakistan
Understanding, how emotional people in the region, particularly Pakistanis, are about having aloo in their biryani, he continued, a “nuclear war has been averted and a partition created to separate pro- and anti-aloo forces. Take heart, comrades. Our grandchildren will sing songs about this day.”

But like other issues, the PTI rejected McLellan’s claim and agree to disagree once again.
Declining to accept the rigged results, Asad Umar has called for a protest and sit-in, saying his party does not accept the results.
American comedian Jeremy McLellan is a true Pakistani at heart!
“Biryani with aloo rules,” he said in a tweet late on Monday.
Asad Umar wants a sit-in on a suitable location in the cyberspace for which he said dates would be soon announced.
Dhandleee! We dont accept these rigged results. Biryani with aloo rules. Dharna to protest these results will be organized. A suitable location in cyber space for this dharna will be announced soon... https://t.co/9U2BBSlryf

American stand-up comedian Jeremy McLellan was in Pakistan last August. He is known for often writing about his love for biryani and hilarious commentary on American politics, immigration, Islamophobia and race.
Just like PTI’s Asad Umar, many others do not agree with McLellan’s poll results nevertheless others believe that the most depressed after the entire battle remain the aloo.
At the end of the voting result potatoes be like "mujhe kiun nikala" 😂
