'Verna' to release internationally but not in Punjab
The film was released on November 17 in UK and the US, as promised, however, the Sindh Censor Board took some time and eventually issued the certificate earlier the morning of the scheduled release.
The leading lady, Mahira Khan was quick to update her fans about the clearance as well.
Thank you to all those who supported #verna - the people, the media, those at the censor board.. thank you so much! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Hoping for Punjab to clear Verna today as well.

Verna: Why Shoaib Mansoor's dream project was banned and why that ban was lifted
No word from the Punjab Censor Board had been given to the producers making them lose all prime time shows of the film for November 17.
Recent advancements in the story say that Verna has been cleared by the Punjab Censor Board which means that the movie will now be shown nationwide as opposed to only being screened in Sindh.
