Ghazain Marri granted bail in Justice Marri murder

Court orders him to submit surety bonds worth Rs1 million against his bail

QUETTA: A district and sessions court on Thursday accepted a bail application filed by Nawabzada Ghazain Marri in connection with the Justice Nawaz Marri murder case.

Lawyers from both sides had completed their arguments on Wednesday after which District and Sessions Judge Rashid Mehmood granted bail to Marri on Thursday.

Ending his self-exile, Ghazain Marri returned to Pakistan in September “to face all cases against him”, and was arrested at Quetta airport on arrival from Dubai.

Ghazain Marri’s lawyers Arbab Tahir Advocate and Kamran Murtaza filed a bail application after his arrest. The application was accepted by the court and on Thursday the court granted bail to Ghazain Marri.

The court ordered him to submit surety bonds worth Rs1 million against his bail.
