Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Few situations are more challenging than those that halt progress and, worse, demand you justify your plans or actions to others. Yet, judging by the coming days’ planetary setup, this is exactly what you’ll have to do. Annoying as this seems, what you learn will be as unexpected as it is informative.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

If there’s a single theme over the coming days, it could be summed up in the phrase ‘choose your battles’. Some issues seem crucial, but they aren’t really that pressing. However, one or two don’t just need to be raised, only once you’re actually discussing them will you realise how much they need attention.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

For ages there’s been talk of radical changes in certain ongoing arrangements. While there’s no arguing that something must be done soon, these would be seriously disruptive. Since these are unlikely to take place until early December’s Gemini Full Moon, you’ve time to explore the options available to you and discuss plans.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

Planning ahead makes sense in most situations and most of the time. But with Jupiter just having moved into a new position and powerful Saturn changing signs in late December, you’re better off considering what might need to change or which elements of your life should go. Decisions, however, should wait.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Annoying as sudden changes can be, judging by the series of powerful aspects to the planet of innovation and the unexpected, Uranus, between now and early December, even seemingly disruptive events will bring stunning progress. The trick is to ensure plans are flexible and explore absolutely everything that comes your way.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

If ever there was a time to focus more on asking questions than on getting answers, it’s now. While, obviously, those questions will get responses, with so much in transition, these must be regarded as more of an opinion that anything lasting. It’s the same for plans. They, too, will change, often dramatically.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

Certain individuals seem to be in a hurry to get things done. While there’s no denying that there are situations when there’s no time to waste, this isn’t one on of them. Actually, with several of the planetary heavyweights moving into new positions within a short period, even simple arrangements will change frequently.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Clear cut as certain arrangements seem, the planetary activity between now and the end of the month is about breakthroughs. Exciting as this sounds, inevitably these will mean rethinking even simple plans. Knowing that, try to ensure what you organise is flexible and, equally, be prepared to make changes, possibly more than once.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

As a fire sign, clashes don’t both you. In fact, long ago you learnt that certain matters are dealt with best when everybody’s feelings are running high. This time, you’re hesitant about allowing already tense issues to become heated. While that’s wise, others are so worked up, there may be no choice.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

For ages you’ve been struggling to undermine the increasingly worrying activities of one particular individual or, perhaps, organisation. But you haven’t achieved much. The current New Moon is about taking a fresh approach, one that could be as simple as stating those concerns directly. You’ll be surprised how well it works.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

It was only a few days ago that the powerful Saturn formed a potentially life-changing alliance to your ruler Uranus. While, at the time, you may have recognised events as promising, it’s now clear these are thrilling breakthroughs, although not remotely in the way or at the pace you’d have imagined possible.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

There’s a single word that will resolve several issues you’re wrestling with, yet you still have trouble actually stating it. That’s the word ‘no’, said firmly and, in situations where others are likely to argue, without justification. This may seem unfair but, deep down, you know it’s in everybody’s best interests.
