MoU inked Denmark, Water and Sanitation Agency in Faisalabad

Wastewater treatment project costing Rs15 billion will be completed with financial assistance of Denmark

FAISALABAD: Wastewater treatment project costing Rs15 billion will be completed with the financial assistance of Denmark to utilise 150 MGD wastewater of Maddoana Drain for irrigation purposes.

In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked between Denmark and Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Faisalabad on Wednesday to complete the feasibility study of the mega project. Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan Rolf Michael Hay Pereira Holmboe and WASA Director Managing Faqir Mohammad Chaudhary signed the MoU.
