According to the official, the areas where the flights were affected included Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Gawadar, Sukkur, Bahawalpur, Sialkot and Rahim Yar Khan. The airline, he added, rescheduled flights based on 83 weather occurrences.

These caused 159 flight cancellations, 17 diversions, 82 re-routing of flights and more than 200 delays.
The spokesperson said that delay of one flight may affect entire operation as one aircraft is used in multiple flight operations.
Most parts of the country received scattered showers on Tuesday, bringing much-awaited respite to the smog-hit plains of Punjab.
