Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

As a fire sign, if an idea or offer is appealing, you’ve no problem making last minute changes. But not everybody is as flexible, and in fact one particular individual could insist on fitting these in with existing arrangements. Don’t argue now. Get them involved, then gradually get them to reorganise those plans.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

While this won’t be the calmest week of your life, even the most unexpected or chaotic of events will turn out to be of huge benefit. True, this means you’ll need to depart from carefully organised plans or even take what seem chances. Worrying as that may be now, in retrospect, you’ll be glad you did.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

In early November, your ruler Mercury moved to accent close relations, personal and those of a business nature. During its unusually long stay there, until mid-January, you’ll learn a lot about those you deal with on a constant basis and, even more, how to overcome what currently seem inevitable misunderstandings.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

For weeks you’ve been concerned the changes being discussed would be disruptive if not create chaos in certain areas of your life. While some disarray is inevitable, this is a small price to pay for the resulting progress. Explore. What you do and experience will offer exactly that variety of reassurance you’re seeking.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

You don’t think of yourself as a perfectionist. But when it comes to certain areas of your life, from your personal style to important close relationships and, of course, family, you can be very demanding indeed. Bizarrely, not everybody realises that. Ensure those involved in decision-making know who and what comes first.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Long ago you learnt there’s little point in arguing either with those who’re short of facts or those whose thinking is so fixed, their views never change. Bizarre as it seems, the questions they ask could highlight issues that you wouldn’t previously have considered, and still yet, recognised need attention.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

Because you’re in the midst of a period of change, both personally and in terms of the circumstances around you, plans are likely to be rethought, and more than once. The trick is to be willing to take chances, possibly ones that seem risky. Within a short time you’ll realise how wise that was.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Living with differences is bad enough. But one particular issue is becoming more pressing by the day. While, obviously, you’d like things resolved, bide your time. For now, reflect on your priorities. This, combined with the discussions, discoveries or events triggered by Sunday’s clash between Mars and your ruler Pluto will do the trick.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

Obviously, the insights triggered by Saturday’s New Moon will be welcome. But they’re only part of the picture. With your ruler Jupiter only just having moved into a new portion of your chart, you’re delving into unfamiliar situations. For now, concentrate on gathering facts. Once they’re clear, you can make those decisions.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

Tempting as it is to refuse concepts that are as impractical as they are unappealing, at least explore them. While, initially, this will seem a waste of time, within days the actual circumstances you’re dealing with will shift, enough you’ll realise what’s being suggested isn’t such a bad idea after all.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

When you first began discussing intriguing ideas, they were interesting but didn’t seem that radical. And, certainly, you didn’t view them as potentially disruptive. Now that you’ve learnt more about them, you’ve become aware how unsettling they could be. But, equally, you remain intrigued, if not actually eager to learn more.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Every once in a while, you run into somebody who’s so stubborn you know there’s little point in suggesting changes or new ideas. However, if you employ your subtle Piscean charm, you’re not only likely to win them over, the individual in question could become a major ally. It’s all about tact and diplomacy.
