A police station in Mastung was attacked with a hand grenade on Saturday, injuring two policemen. Police said unidentified assailants hurled a hand grand at the Railway police station in Mastung town, about 50-kilometers south of Quetta.
The attackers also opened fire at police personnel soon after the blast and managed to flee from the scene. A senior police officer said security had been beefed up across the district for the arrest of the culprits.
Mastung police have registered a case and started investigations.
