Taxation: Body to deal with harassment issues

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) member (Inland Revenue) Khawar Khurshid Butt has said that no genuine taxpayer will be harassed and a committee comprising members of FBR and Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) will be formed to deal with tax-related issues.

Addressing members of LCCI on Saturday, LCCI President Shahzad Ali Malik said people were not willing to come into the tax net due to harassment by tax officials and called for taking corrective measures.
