Belgian trade mission to visit Pakistan in 2018

Belgium is a great transit point allowing its ports in Antwerp and Zeebrugge to feed European market

FAISALABAD: A multi-sector trade mission from Belgium will visit Pakistan in 2018 while another group of Belgian buyers will also participate in an expo to be organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in Karachi, said Belgian Ambassador Frederic Verheyden.

Addressing the business community at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), he said that Faisalabad-based businessmen will be facilitated to have meetings with them to finalise deals.

He said that Belgium is the geographical heart of European Union and hence, adding that “the small country is a great transit point allowing its ports in Antwerp and Zeebrugge to feed the European market of almost 500 million consumers by providing a fast and efficient cargo handling infrastructure”.
