LAHORE: PTI senior leader Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will not accept any amendment in the constitution or law that could delay general elections in the country.

PTI senior leader Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry made these remarks while speaking to a select group of journalists on Sunday. He underscored that the country was passing through very difficult times owing to faulty policies of the government.

PTI, PPP refuse to pass crucial bill

“The entire government and state machinery is being used to hide the corruption of deposed premier Nawaz Sharif and his family,” he remarked.

He suggested the only solution to get rid of this crisis was early polls in the country.

“The ruling party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), had been broken internally and cannot remain united for a long time. The PML-N is a product of dictatorship which is being run in the garb of democracy,” he added.

He said PTI was prepared for general elections and the ruling party was afraid of its popularity. PTI has introduced a new trend in Pakistani politics and was committed to ending family politics of PML-N and Pakistan People’s Party.
