Eight lawbreakers arrested; weapons, drugs seized

Police recover 4.47 kg of hashish, 30 bottles of liquor and one 30-bore pistol along with bullets

SARGODHA: The police have arrested eight outlaws and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from their possession.

A police spokesperson said on Saturday the police teams conducted raids and arrested eight lawbreakers. Police also  recovered 4.47 kilogrammes of hashish, 30 bottles of liquor and one 30-bore pistol along with bullets from them.

Meanwhile, Inspector General Police Punjab Cap Arif Nawaz Khan has transferred and posted six deputy superintendents of police (DSPs) in Sargodha region. DSP Malik Wajid Hussain has been transferred from Mianwali and posted at CIA Sargodha, DSP Ghazanfar Abbas Nathoka posted at Patrolling Police Sargodha, DSP Sultan Ameer at Special Branch Sargodha, DSP Khalid Mehmood at Saddar Mianwali, DSP Ejaz Hussain at Kaloor Kot (Bhakhar) whereas DSP Muhammad Akram has been posted at CIA Staff district Bhakhar.
