LAHORE: Former Punjab chief secretary and federal secretary commerce Brigadier (retd) Aslam Hayat Qureshi passed away on Friday in Lahore. His funeral prayer will be held on Saturday (today) at 11am at his house. The address is 53 Bridge Colony off Sherpao Bridge, Lahore Cantt. He was the father of Rahim Hayat Qureshi, who was Pakistan’s ambassador to South Korea and brother-in-law of former secretary establishment division Muhammad Ismail Qureshi, former IG Police Zafar Ahmed Qureshi, and former MNA and Parliamentary Secretary Mazhar Ahmed Qureshi. He is survived by his wife Tasneem Qureshi and three children, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Irum Alam and Sania Qureshi Ali.
