WhatsApp back online after global outage

WhatsApp on Friday suffered a global outage causing users across the globe causing users to panic.

Apart from Pakistan, people in India, Singapore, Mozambique, Vietnam, Iraq and many parts of Europe reported that they faced connectivity outages on the messaging service.

According to DownDetector, it appears as though it could be a global problem with the server going down.

Users started complaining that they were unable to send messages from around 11 am on Friday.

Last we checked, WhatsApp servers were back up after 2pm. However, it didn't take long for people to notice the outage.




















The Facebook-owned messaging service recently launched the delete message feature along with a Live Location update.
