Leader of the Opposition the National Assembly made it clear on Friday that the Pakistan Peoples Party will not 'save Nawaz Sharif again'.

“We saved Nawaz Sharif once for the sake of saving democracy from being derailed but he will not be saved now under any condition,” Shah said.

In a statement, the PPP leader said that the former premier must remember the day he refused to meet Asif Ali Zardari. Even at that time, he did not meet the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman to please someone.

Mian sahab [Nawaz Sharif] must tell who he was trying to please when he did this? Mian sahab this is called makafate amal [karma],” said PPP’s senior leader.

Why is my case being treated differently? asks Nawaz

During the accountability court hearing a case against the former premier, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and his son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar on Friday (today), Nawaz Sharif had said that “Zardari is not abusing me; he is trying to please someone else.”

While explaining PPP’s stance on the prevailing crisis, Shah continued that “now Nawaz Sharif is in danger and not the democracy and he must refrain from putting the burden of his problems on democracy. In fact, he must save democracy from getting into any trouble.”

He said his party repeatedly asked him to take the parliament into confidence but he did not pay any attention. “Nawaz Sharif was saved once; he will not be saved again.”
