MIRPURKHAS: Unidentified men opened fire at a hotel near Vakil Bagh in the taluka police limits.

They killed the hotel owner, Ali Hussain, and a police constable, Ali Hasan, and injured four hotel employees.

The men were allegedly drinking alcohol at the hotel, when the owner asked them to stop.

At first the men left but they returned later with guns and started shooting the employees.

The police constable's death sparked protests, and the Jarwaran Shaikh roundabout was blocked for several hours.

Sohrab Junejo, Anwer, Arif Punhor and Ghulam Bashir Baloch were injured and were taken to Civil hospital.
