COAS appoints Lt Gen Nadeem Raza as Mujahid Force commandant

Gen Qamar Bajwa appreciates contributions and sacrifices of the force, particularly along the LoC

Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has appointed Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lt Gen Nadeem Raza as the first Colonel Commandant of Mujahid Force.

The appointment was made at a ceremony held at Mujahid Force Centre, Bhimber,  Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Monday.

A large number of serving, retired officers, including those from the force were present on the occasion.

Later, the communique added, while interacting with the commanding officers and soldiers of Mujahid Force, the COAS appreciated their contributions and sacrifices, particularly along the Line of Control.
