
An NIAB spokesperson said on Thursday that the course was part of the institute’s efforts to promote research in areas such as crop improvement, crop nutrition, crop protection, animal biology, salinity and environmental management by using nuclear and other advanced techniques.
He said the was started in 1994 on recommendations of the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA).
He said 30 people with minimum qualifications of MSc would be selected for the course.
