Malakand Operation: Top TTP commander arrested
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) police have recently acquired services of ex-servicemen in Malakand Division in a bid to establish peace in the region.
The security situation remains uncertain in the division. In February this year, a top commander of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat chapter was arrested during an operation by security forces and the counter-terrorism department. The security forces arrested Ihsanur Rehman and his aides after receiving information about their presence in Kishwar village.
