ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has asked Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani to approach veteran Baloch leaders for reconciliation with estranged groups in Balochistan. During a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday, Gilani said that the government has withdrawn army contingents from the area to create a congenial environment where political dialogue can be started. The prime minister asked Raisani about progress on the construction of Kachi Canal Road and Dam projects. He also ordered the provincial government to ensure foolproof security for the company working on the Gwadar-Mastung railway line project. Raisani also told Gilani about the progress on projects initiated under the Aghaz-i-Huqooq-i-Balochistan package.
