Clinton visits Shanghai Expo

SHANGHAI: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton toured the World Expo in Shanghai ahead of talks, on Saturday.

Clinton visited Shanghai Expo 2010 before discussions in Beijing that are expected to be dominated by the sinking of a South Korean warship.

A senior US official said Clinton is in China to make a powerful case about why the issue is a serious matter and why the US wants strong cooperation from China.

The two sides will discuss issues including North Korea, trade disputes, and the international standoff on Iran.
