Red-handed: Seven gamblers arrested in Tarnol

Police have booked the seven suspects and further investigations are underway

ISLAMABAD: The Tarnol police have arrested seven gamblers red-handed during a raid at a gambling den in Tarnol and recovered stake money from them, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, Saddar Superintendent Hassam Bin  Iqbal constituted a team under the supervision of Tarnol police station SHO Inspector Sajjad Bukhari to raid the gambling den.

His squad, including Sub-Inspector Yaseen Ali, raided the gambling den and arrested seven gamblers red-handed. They also recovered stake money worth Rs24,380 from them.

The suspects which were detained were identified as Amjad, Gulzar Khan, Dildar Khan, Syed Afsar, Fazal Ghani, Sohaib, and Razak.

Police have booked the seven suspects and further investigations are underway against them.
