LONDON: The Foo Fighters went straight to the top of the UK album chart on Sunday, ending soul singer Adele’s 11-week reign.

“Wasting Light” marks the Dave Grohl-fronted band’s third British chart-topper, following “Echoes Silence Patience & Grace” (2007) and “One By One” (2002).
