RAWALPINDI: Rehman Malik’s lawyer withdrew two bail applications at the National Accountability Court in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

The interior minister himself has been exempted from having to appear in court. No explanation was given for the withdrawal of the bail applications, though applications could be filed in future.

Malik is facing two charges in two separate cases, both of which are related to his time as Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency.
