One killed in shooting at Peshawar court

The gunman has been taken into custody the authorities.

PESHAWAR: One person was killed and one injured when a gunman opened fire at a sessions court in Peshawar during a trial.

The gunman opened fire on the under-trial prisoners who were being tried for murder.

The person who fired the shots has been identified as Alam Khan and has been taken  into custody by the authorities.

The court has ordered the security personnel to carry out investigations into how this person was let into the court leading to this incident.

The injured have been shifted to the hospital. Sources have said that the incident was a case of personal vendetta.
