Lahore Police, KIPS collaborate for welfare of officials

CCPO says this is a historic step taken to increase their standard of living

LAHORE: Lahore Police have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with KIPS school system for education at discounted rates for children of martyred, injured and on-duty police officials on Tuesday.

The ceremony for signing of MoU was held at DIG Operations Office. It was attended by CCPO Amin Wains, Operations DIG Dr Haider Ashraf, Security SP Rana Tahir, Inspector Zahir-ul-Din, KIPS School System CEO Abid Ayub and Projects Director Colonel Retired Tahir.

According to MoU, a discount of 40% on fees will be given to children of martyred police officials, 30% will be given to the children of injured and 15% for those of on-duty officials.

Speaking on the occasion, CCPO Amin Wains said that this was a historic step taken by Lahore Police for welfare of police force. The purpose of this step was to raise standard of living of police officials, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Operations DIG Dr Haider Ashraf said that signing of MoU with KIPS School System will prove a mile stone in imparting standard education to students.

KIPS School System CEO Abid Ayub said that they were grateful to CCPO and DIG Operations for bringing in their notice the sacrifices of martyrs of Lahore Police. Providing education on discounted rates for martyrs of Lahore Police was tantamount to paying them gratitude for their services, Abid added.
