Sanjay Dutt’s biopic featuring the Jagga Jasoos star Ranbir Kapoor is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated movies to date. This Rajkumar Hirani directorial will narrate the journey of Bollywood’s ‘Munna Bhai’ like never before.

Rumours around the title of the movie have been rife ever since the announcement of the project but it seems like some of these rumours can be put to bed as (apparently) the film finally has a title, reports Pinkvilla. The Khalnayak star’s biopic will be named SANJU. The reports also suggested that Ranbir has finished shooting the majority of the film.

'Sanju' has been the star’s nickname for quite a while now and his friends, family and fans have all called previously him by that name.

"I am really keeping my fingers crossed for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. Shooting for the film was a different experience altogether. I can't imagine and believe how much a man can go through in one life,” said Ranbir in an interview.

He added, “He has paid for his deeds, made mistakes and gotten everything in this life. While filming, there were times when I would observe him a lot - talk and walk like him.

“After the look of Sanjay Dutt was released, it was appreciated but the role that I am portraying is not an act. I hope everyone likes it," the actor concluded.

Revealing Sanjay Dutt's response to Ranbir's look, a source close to the actor said, "On seeing Ranbir’s look, Sanjay was stunned at the similarities that film-maker Raju Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor had created. He absolutely loved it."
