Ghazain challenges re-arrest in BHC
The former provincial minister was arrested on September 22 on his return to the country from Dubai

The Balochistan High Court has issued notices to the home secretary and deputy commissioner of Quetta after Nawabzada Ghazain Marri’s lawyer challenged his re-arrest under the Maintenance of Public Order law.
Hearing the constitutional application filed by Marri’s lawyer Arbab Tahir, a bench comprising Justice Tahira Safdar and Justice Zaheeruddin Kakar issued notices to the officials to appear before the court in the next hearing.
Ghazain Marri granted bail in Kohlu blast case
The former provincial minister was arrested on September 22 on his return to the country from Dubai after ending his 17-year self-exile.
A local court had granted interim bail to Nawabzada Ghazain in the Justice Nawaz Marri murder case, while a special anti-terrorism court for Sibi granted him bail in the Kholu Levies Station attack case and ordered him to submit Rs400,000 as surety.
However, the district administration detained him under Section 3 of the MPO from the court premises before his release on September 29.
