Illegal Occupation: OPC recovers properties worth Rs70m
Punjab OPC Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti informed that Malik Zafar Iqbal of Berkshire, UK filed a complaint that the tenant had refused to vacate his house in Mohalla Faiz-a-abad, Gujrat and had refused to pay rent of previous months. Afzaal Bhatti said that this complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC), Gujrat for further proceedings. After efforts of DOPC members, the said house was vacated and handed over to its owner. Afzaal Bhatti further said that OPC had provided relief to thousands of expatriate Pakistanis by resolving their complaints.
