Meeting: Ukraine’s envoy seeks collaboration  

Volodymyr Lakomov briefed businessmen on the current business and economic environment in his country

ISLAMABAD: Ukrainian Ambassador Volodymyr Lakomov invited Pakistani businessmen on Saturday to intensify collaboration with Ukrainian partners in various industrial and agricultural sectors, a press release issued by the Ukrainian embassy stated. During his visit to the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), he offered the GCCI President a set of business proposals from Ukrainian companies seeking bilateral partnerships. The ambassador briefed Pakistani businessmen on the current business and economic environment in Ukraine, highlighting its positive economic indicators. He stressed that better business climate conditions, strong anticorruption policies and improvement in banking and financial systems have provided excellent stimuli for international partners.
