KARACHI: A man riding a motorcycle with a helmet on has been stabbing random women in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi. The area is highly populated with posh localities and middle-class residences co-existing in the same area. It is, therefore, quite alarming that in such a crowded area an unidentified man has been stabbing women in broad daylight, and no one has been able to identify him — by noting the number plate of his bike — except the fact that he adorns a black T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans.
This incidence has spread fear among people, especially women not only in the Jauhar area but in nearby localities as well. The police have registered FIRs and are on the manhunt but citizens too should be alerted to be more vigilant of what’s happening in their surroundings and try and help in some way or the other.
