Pakistan Air Force is prepared to neutralise any internal or external threat in the region, Air Chief Marshall Sohail Aman said on Friday.
“Our success in the war on terrorism is testimony to the fact that the force has a firm resolve to root out the menace of terror from our motherland and the region,” Radio Pakistan quoted the air chief marshal as saying.
He was addressing the passing out parade of Combat Support Force at PAF Asghar Khan Academy Risalpur. “Pakistan is a peace loving country and supports peace efforts in the world, the region and the Middle East,” he further said.

The ceremony was also attended by Commander of the Kuwaiti Air Force Major General Abdullah Al-Foudari. The Kuwaiti dignitary expressed his country’s willingness to work with Pakistan forces for augmenting relations between the two countries in different fields including the defense and security. Major General Al-Foudari said Pakistan and Kuwait enjoy historic relations in various fields including the military training.
