TDCP plans bus tour to Taxila

RAWALPINDI: In connection with World Tourism Day to be celebrated across the country on Wednesday, Tourism Development Corporation Pakistan (TDCP) Regional Office Rawalpindi has arranged “Tourism Bus Caravan”, from Rawalpindi to Taxila Museum. The caravan will accommodate students of Anjuman Faizul Islam, Faizabad and it will be a complimentary tour, said TDCP Rawalpindi Region Deputy General Manager Sikandar Hayat. The students will visit Taxila Museum which is a reflection of the past civilisation. Special air-conditioned coaches have been decorated to make the journey attractive. A walk will also be arranged on Taxila Museum Road to create awareness about benefits of tourism.
