A costly blunder

Though it would be equally justified to regard the mistake as a blunder that anyone could have committed

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s already much tarnished image in the international community got another jab this week when the country’s envoy to the UN showed a picture from Palestine as an evidence of Indian atrocities in the Indian-Occupied Kashmir. It is shocking to understand, how the ambassador and her team were unaware of a photographer’s work on the Palestinian conflict that was given enough coverage to grab attention of anyone who watches international news bulletins, but failed to get the attention of the ambassador and her team.

Though it would be equally justified to regard the mistake as a blunder that anyone could have committed, given that Pakistan is already not bringing the best of its game at the international forum, it has clearly missed an easy win against its neighbouring rival.
