Safe Roads Programme: Four new driving schools to be set up

LAHORE: City Traffic Police, Lahore has decided to establish four new driving schools with the help of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Punjab. This was stated by Traffic Police Chief Officer Rai Ijaz Ahmad after meeting with TEVTA Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh. He said they had initiated “Trained Drivers Safe Roads Programme” and imparted trainings to more than 300 drivers during the first phase. Ijaz said that CTPL had only one driving school at the moment. It was due to special interest and help of TEVTA chairman that four new driving schools were established and four new were being established.
