The deceased, identified as 23-year-old Basharat and 21-year-old Amna, were allegedly being poisoned by the bride’s family. Although their bodies bore no marks of torture that could imply any foul play, Basharat’s family say the couple was poisoned to death by Amna’s parents.
Local police reached the incident site and shifted the bodies to a morgue for autopsy. Police said the cause of their death has not yet been ascertained, adding that the autopsy could help reveal the mystery behind the couple’s death.
