Target killing: Sunni Tehreek worker, wife ‘slaughtered’
A gang of men broke into 30-year-old Farhan Naeem’s house in Saeedabad and physically assaulted him and his wife.

A gang of men broke into 30-year-old Farhan Naeem’s house in Saeedabad and physically assaulted him and his wife, 28-year-old Yasmin. They killed the couple after torturing them.
The police took the bodies to Civil Hospital, Karachi.
They said that the victim, Farhan, was a Sunni Tehreek activist.
As the news of the murder spread, tension followed. Unidentified armed men forced people to shut down their shops and businesses. A heavy contingent of police was deployed in the area.
Saeedabad SHO Abdul Maeed said the motive behind the murder was personal enmity.
The police registered a case on behalf of the victim’s friend, Muhammad Sarwar Qadri, in which he accused three members of a political party. The accused were identified as Aziz alias CIA, Akhtar alias Baba and Anees.
