Woman found dead in her house

Sumera had contracted a love marriage five years ago

FAISALABAD: A woman was found murdered in her house, in the precincts of Lundianwala police station on Saturday. Police said Sumera Wazeeri, a resident of Okara, had contracted a love marriage with Ghulam Sarwar, a resident of Chak No 656/7-GB Buchiana, five years ago. Her husband, Ghulam Sarwar, was in Rawalpindi for some work and she and her one-and-a-half year old daughter were in the house when some unidentified men strangled her. When the woman did not open door of her house next morning, the neighbours informed the area police. She was found dead inside her house. The police shifted the body to morgue for postmortem.
