Police arrests several Hizbul Tehrir members during protests

Clashes left a policeman and several Hizbul Tehrir protesters injured.

Police have arrested several members of banned organisation Hizbul Tehrir on Sunday during its protests in Lahore and Karachi.

The protests were carried out in Mozang area of Lahore and Saddar in Karachi where protesters demanded that the government stop supporting the US agenda.

They condemned the government for the release of US national Raymond Davis and demanded that the case of Dr Aafia Saddiqi should also be re-visited.

Clashes broke out in both the rallies when police tried to disperse the protesters that left a policeman and several Hizbul Tehrir protesters injured.
