ANP chief says the terrorists have been restricted to Fata only.

Express April 17, 2011

ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party (ANP) Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan on Sunday said that terrorist elements have been driven out of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and are now restricted to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) only.

Addressing the media in Islamabad, the ANP leader said his party is against terrorism but believes that dialogues can resolve issues between the two sides.

He said that the ANP had been criticised when it tried to resolve the issue of terrorism through dialogue and now everyone has adopted a similar policy.

The ANP chief added that the government should ensure the implementation on the 18th amendment.

ANP started its membership campaign from the April 15, 2011 and party elections will be held in mid-October this year.

All the cowards do is the occasional attack on innocent children in schools and civilians in bazaars in a show of desperation. The public hates the criminals and works together with local authorities to expose them, catch them and stop them at every turn. This is to me is a clear sign of improvement.
