Armeena Khan slams followers for hating on her 'dark skinned' fiance Fesl Khan

Pakistani trolls are at it again with mocking one's complexion

Armeena Khan officially announced her engagement to Fesl Khan back in July, this year. The Bin Roye star took to Instagram to break the special news to her fans with a picture of her British 'bae' proposing on a Cuban beach.

Since then, she has posted many pictures with the handsome hunk. However, not everyone has been able to appreciate his good looks and Armeena had to call some people out for their hateful comments towards Fesl.

The actor expressed her unhappiness after her followers supposedly mocked her fiancé for the colour of his skin. "I am really sad today, in fact, I feel sick to my stomach." Are people really still doing this?!

She went on to share information about Fesl’s background and explained how he is loved by many regardless of his skin tone. "Fesl is a public figure in the U.K. too and is loved by a lot of his followers."

Moreover, she voiced her revulsion regarding the fact that the hatred was actually coming from the people of Pakistan rather than anyone of a different race. "I have never, EVER come across a white person ridiculing him for his skin. When I exposed him to the Pakistani public, many were complimentary yet many derogatory towards him due to his complexion."

"I am so embarrassed to get this from my own people," she added.

Nonetheless, Armeena still witnessed many trolls to whom she thought best to respond to personally.

The 'fairness' issue seems to be an ongoing one throughout southern Asia. However, Armeena sees nothing wrong with her dark-skinned honey, and rightly so. "I love a man for his heart," she states.
