PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Elementary Education Atif Khan said on Wednesday that Quality Assurance Authority was being setup to provide quality education facilities to children of the province. He was speaking at a meeting about establishment of the proposed authority. He said foundation stone of the building of Girls Cadet College Mardan would be laid in December this year. The girls cadet college would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs2.30 billion, he said. The first phase of the building would complete in six months, he said. He further said Rs26 billion were provided for provision of basic facilities in public sector schools besides addressing shortage of teachers in the province.
