According to the Twitter Transparency report, Pakistan made 24 requests to Twitter for the removal of 82 accounts between January and June this year, compared to 13 removal requests for 19 accounts in the first half of 2016.

The government made seven account information requests between January 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017, compared to four requests made during the second half of 2016.
With the increase in the number of requests, the number of accounts specified in the requests has also increased from 38 during the period of July-December 2016 to 60 in the first half of 2017.
However, Twitter did not comply with any of the requests.
