Three suspected killers caught in Haripur

HARIPUR: Police have managed to arrest three suspects in the murder of PTI’s Tehsil Council Member Malik Haq Nawaz. Dhenda Tehsil Council Member Haq Nawaz of the PTI was assassinated in a mafia-style shooting near his home last week. He was buying groceries from a roadside stall when a car braked in front of him. Four men alighted from the car, lined up, and opened fire with automatic weapons. A bystander and his son were also injured in the attack. The victim’s family had nominated Amir, Khurram, Hanif and Adil as the suspects in the murder case filed at Khulla Butt police station.
