Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Factory Area and Shahpur police limits on Thursday.
Police said that Omar Daraz, a resident of Chak No 92-NB, and his 10-year-old son, Mohsin, were riding a motorcycle on Sillanwali-Sargodha Road when a speedy car hit them. As a result, Mohsin was killed on the spot, while Omer Daraz suffered injuries.
Road accidents claim over a dozen lives
Similarly, a motorcyclist Ahmad Hassan was injured while his wife Zahida Bibi died on the spot when a passenger bus hit their two-wheeler near Vegowal on Khushab Road.
