Army establishes new dental centre in CMH Lahore: ISPR
The facility will cater to dental procedures including facial deformities and aesthetics
Lahore Corps Commander Lt Gen Sadiq Ali inaugurated on Thursday the newly established Maxillofacial Centre at the Institute of Dentistry in CMH Lahore Medical College, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
The facility will cater to dental procedures including facial deformities and aesthetics.
According to the military's media wing, the state-of-the-art centre is the first in Punjab and only the second in the country after the Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry (AFID) in Rawalpindi.
"The centre will provide both outdoor and indoor facilities to patients," it said. "It will cater to dental traumas, orthogonic aesthetic surgery as well as cleft lip and palate."
The facility is also equipped to treat dental problems of disabled pediatric patients, the ISPR added.
