For a phone of its strength, the A71 is priced at a paltry Rs19, 899

OPPO has officially launched its newest device, the A71 in the Pakistani market. OPPO has had a long-standing history of catering to the budget market for smartphones, keeping in mind that everyone in the world wants a high-end smartphone experience, but not everyone can afford one, which is where the company sees itself, providing a premium smartphone experience at reasonable prices.

Recently OPPO has seen a lot of success with its F-series of devices, where they focused their efforts towards perfecting the smartphone camera experience. The A71, however, focuses on efficiency.

The phone is priced at a paltry Rs19, 899 and is arguably one of the fastest, strongest and best-looking devices available in the market at the time of writing.

Boasting a 3GB RAM and an Octa-core 1.5GHz processor, the A71 all but guarantees speed and efficiency in the form of faster screen transitioning, faster browsing and faster application usage than most other devices available at this price.

Storage space is never an issue in this day and age, specifically with the introduction of cloud storage and expandable memory, having said that, this device comes with an in-built storage space of 16GB which is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card.

The A71 delivers well on the camera quality for its price; with a 5MP front-facing camera and a more than useful rear facing 13MP camera. With the Bokeh effect feature and image denoising technology, coupled with the fact that OPPO values photo capturing abilities highly, this device can more or less confirm that an image taken will look much better than anticipated.

The device itself looks regal in gold and irresistible in black. With a 5.2 inch screen and a well-performing 3000mAh battery, the A71 looks a serious contender in the market this season, however, the device is lighter than one would imagine, which can be a positive or a negative depending on what side of the fence one is camped at.

With an extremely accurate touchscreen and an above par resolution of 720x1280 pixels, perhaps, the stand-out feature for Android purists would be that this phone comes running Android 7.1 right out the box.

With unprecedented speed, traditionally high-end camera capabilities, premium touch and feel and the most up to date operating software, the OPPO A71 is a front-runner for budget phones this season.
